| Saralyn Mark, MD, a world renowned leader in women’s health, is known as a pioneer in this field. Dr. Mark, an endocrinologist, geriatrician and women’s health specialist, was the first Senior Medical Advisor to the Office on Women’s Health within the Department of Health and Human Services and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). She designed the first women’s health fellowship in the Nation, helped create the National Centers of Leadership in Academic Medicine, the National Centers of Excellence in Women’s Health in academic and community health centers across the country and landmark educational campaigns on critical health issues. She has published and delivered over 400 lectures across the world. After years of working at the highest levels of government, Dr. Mark has built extensive contacts and alliances within professional and community health organizations.
